Geshe Tenzin Wangyal Rinpoche

Wisdom has a specific meaning in Dzögchen:
The recognition of the natural state, the own and true nature; it does not refer to something that we acquire gradually, or with age, or with experience; rather, it describes the recognition of complete perfection in this moment, at any given moment.
When we realize the limitless openness and pure awareness of our natural mind, this recognition manifests as five distinct qualities of wisdom.
The Five Wisdoms are:
Wisdom of Emptiness: Seeing all phenomena, including oneself, as lacking inherent existence. We are open without limits.
Wisdom that is like a Mirror: Recognizing all appearances as the display of the clear nature and without obscurations of the natural mind. We are rich with unlimited potential.
Wisdom of Equanimity: Free from the prejudice of acceptance or rejection. We embrace every experience with openness, awakened awareness, and warmth..
Wisdom that Discerns: By realizing the uniqueness of each appearance, we mature the virtuous qualities that arise spontaneously.
Wisdom that Achieves: Everything: Complete in this moment, we express positive qualities creatively, spontaneously, and effortlessly for the benefit of all.
